Dualitree
I uploaded this a few minutes before the deadline!
Added the audio 10 minutes before!
This is my third Game Jam.
Enjoy!
How to play :
To survive, you must not burn your tree stumps and you must complete the given objective before the deadline.
Known bug(s) :
- A tile highlight is gone when you slide your mouse out of the game zone and back in directly on the border.
Important note:
This version of the game is not the original submitted version.
Here's what has changed :
- Fixed a bug where the game would crash when buring wood.
- Fixed a bug where clouds wouldn't move when starting a run after Game Over.
- Fixed a bug where clouds would appear halfway through their cycle.
- Fixed a bug where fire would stay floating when a tile broke because it wasn't connected to anything.
- Fixed a bug where it would crash when clicking off of the game board after selecting a tile that has been destroyed.
- Fixed a bug where tile placing markers would stay even after unselecting a tile.
- Fixed a bug where the same objective could happen twice in a row.
- Added an objective that was missing due to a bug.
The download of the original version is at the bottom of this page.
(I don't recommend since all it adds are bugs. :P)

the game is really fun but theres a bug where if the tree burns down and you retry the game it freezes
Yeah, after looking at the script, not sure what causes it.
It seems to only happen in the WebGL version!
could you upload a windows version i can downlod or something because i really like it and i dont wann have to keep refreshing it again and again.
I will look into it and if I do find the origin of this bug I'll put up a download without it! :)
This was my third Game Jam, and I went for a genre of game I had never done before! (Stategy + cards)
My two other Jams (IcoJam & GMTK) were platformer games, so this was a fun challenge to tackle!
I'm proud of what I've made here, and while more audio would have certainly helped because I poured all of my time into the mechanics, I still think I managed to create something unique!
Thanks for playing! :D
